Senti (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by Mirchandani Labs Pty Ltd. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the Senti mobile app and website (https://getsenti.ai).

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information reasonably required to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the App.

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • First name and last name
  • Authentication and account credentials

This information is used to create and manage your account, authenticate access to the App, communicate important service updates, and provide customer support.

Interest & Preference Information

We may collect information about stocks, tickers, watchlists, interests, or preferences that you choose to save within the App.

This information is used to personalise your experience, improve the relevance of sentiment analysis, provide future product enhancements, and support features such as saved tickers and customised content.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, we may collect information relating to your subscription status, plan type, renewal status, and transaction history.

Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not collect, process, or store full payment card details.

Location Information

We may collect device timezone and regional settings to display sentiment timestamps relative to your local time zone.

This information is used to display sentiment timestamps and historical sentiment data relative to your local time zone, helping users accurately interpret when sentiment was generated compared to market trading hours.

Approximate location information may also be used in aggregated and anonymised form to understand usage trends, improve app performance, and guide future product development.

Device Information

We may collect information about the device used to access the App, including:

  • Device identifiers (including identifiers used to support notification delivery through Firebase Cloud Messaging)
  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • Application version
  • Language settings
  • Diagnostic information

This information helps us maintain security, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, prevent abuse, and improve the overall user experience.

Usage and Analytics Information

We may collect information regarding how users interact with the App, including:

Profile Information

Users may optionally upload a profile photograph to personalise their account.

Profile photographs are used solely for account customisation, identification, and display within the App.

Profile photographs are stored securely and may be deleted by the user at any time through the App or by requesting account deletion.

Profile photographs are not used for advertising purposes and are not sold to third parties.

Customer Support Information

If you contact us for support, we may collect information you voluntarily provide, including your email address and the contents of your communications, in order to respond to your request and resolve issues.

We do not collect:

  • Financial account information
  • Brokerage account information
  • Investment portfolio holdings
  • Trading activity
  • Government identification documents
  • Sensitive personal information

2. Data from Third-Party Services

Senti accesses publicly available data via third-party APIs, including:

  • Reddit API –  Reddit Privacy Policy
    • Senti uses publicly available information obtained through Reddit APIs in accordance with Reddit’s applicable terms and policies.
  • YouTube API (Google) –  Google Privacy Policy⁠
    • Senti’s use of information received from YouTube APIs is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. By using Senti, you acknowledge and agree to Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • OpenAI API (for sentiment analysis) – OpenAI Privacy Policy⁠
    • OpenAI API – used solely to generate sentiment summaries and scores from publicly available content. Information processed by OpenAI is subject to OpenAI’s Privacy Policy.

We do not collect or store your personal account data from these services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Authenticate users and secure access to the App
  • Provide sentiment analysis, summaries, ratings, and related functionality
  • Store user preferences and saved tickers
  • Process and manage subscriptions
  • Provide customer support
  • Deliver service-related communications and important account notifications
  • Monitor app performance and diagnose technical issues
  • Detect fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, or misuse of the App
  • Display historical sentiment data using locally relevant timestamps and time zone information

We use trusted third-party providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), to host and process data securely.

Where data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

6. Data Sharing

We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers where necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App.

These service providers may include:

Stripe

Used for subscription management, billing, payment processing, and related customer services.

OpenAI

Used to generate sentiment summaries and sentiment analysis based on publicly available content sourced from third-party platforms.

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Used for cloud hosting, storage, infrastructure, and related technical services.

Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google)

Used to deliver app notifications and service-related messages. Firebase may process device identifiers and technical information necessary to facilitate notification delivery and maintain service reliability.

Third-party providers are only provided access to information reasonably necessary to perform their services.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

We do not provide personal information to data brokers.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical, organisational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction.

These measures may include:

Senti may display or link to content from third-party platforms (e.g., Reddit or YouTube). These platforms operate under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
