Well, this is really more about me. I’m an IT professional based in Melbourne, Australia, and my journey into trading began during the GameStop surge in 2021. Like many, I was captivated by Keith Gill (better known as Roaring Kitty) and how he fearlessly shared his research with the world. Regardless of the media narrative, his conviction proved something powerful — the community-driven “sneeze” happened, and it changed the way many of us viewed investing.
As I dug deeper into the world of markets, I picked up technical indicators and grew to understand the power of data—when used responsibly. But I noticed something: most everyday investors — your average Joe and Sue —don’t spend hours studying candlesticks or moving averages. Instead, they rely on headlines or news articles that often come too late, or worse, are shaped by bias, partnerships, or hidden agendas.
That sparked an idea: what if we could hear directly from the crowd? Social platforms are filled with real conversations—posts, comments, and debates that reflect how people actually feel about a stock. What if there was a way to capture that collective sentiment and deliver it in a simple, digestible way?
For months, the thought lingered in my head. I didn’t find anything out there that truly simplified sentiment analysis for the masses. Then came the breakthrough: with AI becoming more accessible, it was finally possible to analyze huge amounts of social chatter quickly and meaningfully. That’s when I decided — it was time to build it.
And so, Senti was born. An app that blends the scale of social media with the intelligence of AI to provide sentiment-driven insights on stock tickers. Senti isn’t built for hedge funds or trading “elites” — it’s designed for everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned trader or just curious about the markets, Senti gives you a pulse on what people are really saying, in real time.
I also made it my priority to keep it affordable and user-friendly. No jargon, no steep learning curves just clear sentiment ratings, powered by AI, at your fingertips. Because investing should feel accessible, not intimidating.
This project combines two of my passions: technology and style innovation. Like aviation, which thrives on making passenger journeys seamless, I wanted Senti to make market insights seamless — cutting through complexity so people can focus on what matters.
For me, Senti isn’t just an app — it’s about democratizing access to insight. It’s about giving everyday investors a tool that levels the playing field and empowers smarter decision-making.
